Those seeking an automotive thrill should make their way toward the Jack Barclay Bugatti showroom in Berkeley Square to view one of the rarest sights they’ll ever see—the world’s fastest roadster, the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Edition.
As the only official UK dealer for Bugatti sales and servicing, H.R. Owen was the natural choice to display (and retail) the low-mileage roadster. Clad in Black Carbon Fibre with Arancia highlights, this eye-catching open-top car is simply electric from rooftop to wheelbase.
Of the 450 Veyrons made in nine years of production, only 150 roadsters were produced and, of those, only eight were world record editions, making this the particular vehicle the very definition of the word “rare.” As a result, values of the Veyron are set to be strong in the future, and this Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Edition is no exception, being offered at £1,795,000.
The “World Record” classification comes from the car’s 2013 record-breaking speed attempt when it reached 254.04mph (408.84km/h)—a run that officially made this 1200PS (1184bhp) Veyron the world’s fastest roadster.
Originally registered in October 2013 after being sold by H.R. Owen Brand Director and resident Bugatti expert, Anita Krizsan, this Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse has only known one owner in its lifetime, and has a mere 1130 miles to its name.
A leading authority on all things Bugatti and one of the most successful Bugatti salespeople in the world, Anita is “delighted [to] have the opportunity to help the car find its second owner…it has been meticulously cared for in its life so far. It will make for a wonderful investment for collectors and enthusiast alike.”
Until the release of the Chiron later this year, the Veyron will remain the most exclusive Bugatti ever made.
Those interested in learning more about the Chiron, or the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse should contact H.R. Owen—the UK’s only officially licensed Bugatti sales and service team.
