(20th June 2019) H.R. Owen Aston Martin Reading and Cheltenham hosted 25 owners on an exclusive Cotswolds drive-out, visiting the UK’s best-loved motoring meccas at Caffeine & Machine and The Classic Motor Hub.
Taking in the area’s most dynamic and picturesque roads and following a wonderful route through the English countryside, it was a perfect opportunity to make the most of owner’s prized British supercars.
A plethora of scintillating Aston Martin models took part in the tour, with ten variants gracing the English countryside. The likes of the new 195mph twin-turbocharged V8 Vantage, the latest V12 DBS Superleggera grand tourer, and Vanquish – the last of the naturally aspirated Astons – drove through the undulating Cotswold hills.
Making their way from the stunning Thyme manor hotel in Gloucestershire, featuring beautiful private gardens, a self-sustaining kitchen, cookery school and luxury spa, the convoy arrived at the UK’s hottest new motoring destination: Caffeine & Machine.
A lush 12-acre site just outside Stratford-upon-Avon, Caffeine & Machine is a dedicated spot for every conceivable type of motoring, providing an automotive hotspot for enthusiasts of all kinds. After a cup of coffee, a chance to rest and refuel for lunch, and an opportunity to take in the diverse array of vehicles on display, the convoy drove onto RAF Bibury, and the Classic Motor Hub.
This ex-World War Two Fighter Command Base is now a five-acre site dedicated to classic motoring. Owners had a fascinating private tour of the collection, accompanied by a spot of tea and cake in the wonderful Cotswold surroundings.
Owners enjoyed an afternoon of amazing driving roads, incredible food and stunning locations – all visited in their scintillating British supercars.
