Customers of H.R. Owen Aston Martin are always ensured early access to brand new releases before they’re even on the road, with a number of exclusive events that deliver luxurious experiences in tandem with in-the-metal previews. The latest example came courtesy of an exclusive day spent at Daylesford Farm with the Aston Martin DBX707 – the world’s most powerful luxury SUV.
Customers were invited to Daylesford, near Kingham in Gloucestershire, to pore over every extra vent, inlet and aerodynamic addition of DBX707 while also admiring the new Dark Chrome highlights in the interior.
An Aston Martin product expert was on-hand for insightful walkarounds and technical explainers, revealing the broad spectrum of innovations applied to DBX707. At its heart is an uprated 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8, enhanced in almost every way compared with the DBX. The engine now delivers 707PS through an all-new nine-speed wet-clutch transmission with faster shifts and quicker launches. As a result, DBX707 is capable accelerating from 0-62mph in just 3.3 seconds.
Key to the DBX707’s exceptional handling is its air suspension system. Retaining the basic architecture and triple volume air chambers of the DBX V8 – already regarded as the best-handling SUV in the market – DBX707 features a dedicated chassis tune optimised for an even more intense driving experience.
Throughout these exclusive DBX707 viewings, guests were served delicious refreshments sourced from the flagship Daylesford Organic Farm. Set amongst clover-rich pastures, with animals roaming freely, the farm delivers a range of high-quality products to the on-site shop and restaurants. Fresh vegetables, fruit and herbs are picked each morning from the Market Garden.
Once guests had finished admiring the DBX707, they were free to enjoy Daylesford’s award-winning farmshop & café, kitchens, Bakery and Creamery, including a Zero Waste Pantry where visitors can fill their own containers with fresh produce.
