H.R. Owen Aston Martin Reading has strengthened its partnership with Auto Vivendi – one of the UK’s leading providers of supercar-related lifestyle experiences – with the handover of three very special Aston Martins DBS Superleggera Volantes, forming part of six new Aston Martin acquisitions. Six lucky Auto Vivendi members visited Aston Martin’s HQ in Gaydon for the personal handover.
Auto Vivendi, the UK’s leading providers of supercar-related lifestyle experiences, providing members with the convenient and cost-effective use of a stunning collection of new supercars. The team also offer driving and lifestyle events, supercar procurement services, supercar transport service and car finance and insurance solutions.
The six cars will now form part of the wider range of top-end supercars available for Auto Vivendi members to experience, with 25 percent of them now wearing the famous Aston Martin wings. Six lucky Auto Vivendi members were invited to the Gaydon Headquarters alongside the Aston Martin Reading team and Auto Vivendi directors Richard Thomas and Craig Williams.
But before the handover took place, the guests were in store for a preview of the one-of-88 V12 Speedster in the intimate but exquisitely finished handover hall. Marek Reichman, Aston Martin’s Chief Creative Officer and Executive Vice President treated the lucky six members to a personal unveiling of the new Speedster, answering questions as they pored over the minute details of this very special Aston Martin. The V12 Speedster is the latest vehicle to be revealed by Aston Martin, a limited run of 88 at a cost of £765,000. This model is inspired by the 1959 Le Mans winning DBR1 and the CC100 Centenary concept as well as an F/A-18 fighter jet where it takes a number of design cues.
Also on display was the new AMB 001, which has been built in partnership with Bough Superior, displaying a level of Aston Martin elegance not normally associated with racing bikes.
On either flank of the V12 Speedster, under covers, sat the six cars waiting to be uncovered and driven away by the Auto Vivendi team: three DBS Superleggera Volantes supplied by H.R. Owen Aston Martin Reading, a DBS Superleggera Coupe, a Vantage and a DB11 Volante. But, before they could hit the road, the Aston Martin team wanted to give Auto Vivendi’s members an insight into just how these spectacular performance cars are handcrafted, with a tour of the Gaydon facility.
Suitably impressed by the dedication, passion and innovation that goes into each and every Aston Martin model, it was time to test out the new acquisitions. It goes without saying, the Auto Vivendi convoy took the scenic route from Gaydon back to the Auto Vivendi Clubhouse in London, where these cars will be available for members to experience.
