H.R. Owen Bugatti celebrates the season in style

To celebrate the festive season, H.R. Owen Bugatti metaphorically transported friends, guests, and clients to the Alps by transforming its boutique London showroom into an après-ski venue for an evening in early December. The magical setting created a cosy ambience worthy of and just as welcoming as the finest French ski resorts of Val d’Isère, Courchevel and Chamonix.

Guests savoured a range of festive cocktails and canapes and the finest fare from The Caviar Bar, one of the most renowned suppliers of the delicacy in the world and near-neighbour of H.R. Owen Bugatti. The evening also afforded the perfect opportunity for visitors to meet the Bugatti team, led by Brand Manager Jack Millar and supported by Brand Ambassador Elliott Trousdale and Service Manager Adrian George.

And, of course, the cars were very much the Christmas stars, with a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse taking centre stage. A hyper sportscar of superlative quality, the Veyron produces more than 1,200bhp and delivers a level of performance that would give even the magical hooves of Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, and Rudolph a run for their reindeer moss.

Finished in Jet Grey and Jet Grey Matt with a Tangerine interior, the Veyron Grand Sport left the Bugatti Atelier in 2014. Having covered a mere 9,673km in that time, the 8.0-litre, 16-cylinder engined roadster offered for sale by H.R. Owen represents a rare opportunity for an aficionado of the brand to acquire an exceptional piece of automotive history.

Guests also had the chance to peruse another, equally exclusive member of the Bugatti Rimac family in the form of the Rimac Nevera.  A 1,914bhp electric hypercar beyond compare, the event marked only the second time the production Nevera has been shown in the UK.

Happy Christmas, or, as they say, in Molsheim, home of Bugatti  – Joyeux Noël and in Sveta Nedelja, Rimac’s Croatian home – sretan Božić!
