Hennessey Special Vehicles, the world-renowned Texas-based hypercar manufacturer recently brought its uniquely American brand of Texan thunder to Central London as the 1,817 bhp Venom F5 hypercar toured some of the capital’s top sights.
The hypercar’s 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged ‘Fury’ V8 made itself known at iconic tourist attractions across the UK’s capital including Tower Bridge, The London Eye, St Paul’s Cathedral, and The Shard. Previously, UK fans only had the chance to see the exclusive, fire breathing F5 rocket up the Goodwood Festival of Speed hill, so this public debut caused quite a stir as night fell in the city.
John Hennessey, company founder and CEO: “Hennessey has a special relationship with the UK with many suppliers and engineering partners based around the country’s ‘Motorsport Valley’. So, driving our 1,817 bhp Venom F5 hypercar around London was a real privilege and a great way to celebrate our European retail partnership with H.R. Owen.”
Just 30 examples of the Roadster variant are available globally, each costing upwards of $2.5m USD before taxes. Many are already sold with each buyer specifying their own unique colour scheme and interior. The Roadster seen in London, and available from Hennessey’s London retailer HR Owen, was finished in a vibrant ‘Sumer Yellow’ with a distinctive white and yellow interior.

It is fitted with the same twin-turbocharged, 6.6-litre V8 engine as its Coupe and Revolution siblings, but this version presents the most connected and visceral experience courtesy of its removable carbon fibre roof. In fact, the driving experience is set to reach new highs with the Venom F5 Roadster expected to surpass the company’s own ‘world’s fastest convertible’ record – 265.6 mph – currently held by the Hennessey Venom GT Spyder.
The Venom F5 Coupe sold out in 2021, with customer deliveries taking place from 2021-2023. The open-top Roadster and track-focused Revolution variants joined the F5 Coupe in 2022 and 2023 respectively, each boasting the F5’s prodigious 1,817 bhp Fury engine.
Interested parties in Europe can arrange Venom F5 viewings through the Hennessey London team at HR Owen by calling 0333 240 9015.
