Jack Barclay Bentley and pop-art sensation Mr Brainwash Reveal Unique Bentayga Artwork

Jack Barclay Bentley have collaborated with street art sensation Mr Brainwash to create a one-of-a-kind Bentayga artwork, which was revealed at a private event at the Jack Barclay showroom with Clarendon Fine Art.

The one-of-a-kind car features an exclusive wrap designed by Mr Brainwash, the flamboyant Los Angeles-based, French-born creative, who has emerged as one of the most celebrated names in contemporary art over the past decade.

Mr Brainwash – AKA Thierry Guetta – has worked with such diverse individuals as the Dalai Lama, Madonna, Pope Francis and hip-hop star Rock Ross, and as might be expected of someone with such an eclectic CV, the wrap is an eccentric, multi-coloured assault on the senses.

It includes references to some of his previous works, including a depiction of the Mona Lisa on the bonnet, a Banksy-style monkey on the rear left-hand side and, emblazoned in neon pink graffiti on the tailgate, the slogan “Life is Beautiful” – the name of his first exhibition in Hollywood in 2008, and a phrase that has appeared on a variety of his artworks since.

The Bentayga itself is based on the Azure model, which features a stunning vertical vaned front grille, beautiful 22-inch 10-spoke wheels and an ultra-luxurious cabin, while the 542bhp 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine ensures supreme performance, delivering the 0-60mph sprint in just 4.4 seconds.

It made its debut in the London showroom at a special presentation of Mr Brainwash’s work attended by the artist himself and Her Royal Highness, Princess Beatrice, and has already attracted plenty of attention online and in the media. The price for the car is available on application.

Ken Choo, CEO of H.R. Owen, said: “H.R. Owen is accustomed to selling the world’s most desirable cars, but it’s rare to get the opportunity to offer buyers the chance of owning a genuine piece of art. Mr Brainwash has produced a wonderfully innovative Bentayga that simply radiates a sense of fun, and I am absolutely convinced there will be huge interest at Jack Barclay Bentley from those who are keen to acquire this one-off masterpiece.”
