The worlds of luxury tailoring and cutting-edge car design came together for one perfect event recently, at the inaugural Concours on Savile Row. Savile Row, in the heart of London’s Mayfair, is recognised as the home of the world’s finest tailors, a place to which those seeking sartorial excellence flock.
For two days from June 15-16th, the iconic street was also host to some of the most rare, beautiful and advanced cars on the planet, including our striking Maserati’s MC20 demonstrator. One of the biggest stars of the Concours, the MC20 drew crowds of admirers to its red-carpet location from the moment the Concours opened to the minute it closed its doors.
During the special event, H.R Owen Maserati partnered with Savile Row tailors and shirt makers Cad & The Dandy.
Cad & The Dandy share Maserati’s devotion to superlative craftsmanship and beautiful design, making it the perfect combination.
The event itself was also sponsored by Chopard, a company with a long and rich history of drawing inspiration for its timepieces from the automotive world.
The first time the event has taken place, the Concours on Savile Row was a resounding success, with thousands of people arriving each day to wander in the sunshine among breath-taking cars and meet some of the finest tailors in the world. H.R Owen’s guests and customers were invited to enjoy cocktails and canapés in our VIP areas dotted around the legendary street. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who came to visit us and say hello – you all helped make the Concours on Savile Row an event to remember.
