Bentley Continental Black Editions Celebrate the End of the V8 Era
In both fixed head GT and convertible GTC form, the Bentley Continental is the ultimate grand tourer, effortlessly blending luxury, performance and dynamics. As production of the iconic V8 models draws to a close, the marque has created the exclusive new Black Edition models based on the S variants, featuring bold accent colours from Mulliner to subtly enhance the beautifully dramatic design. The Black Editions will be among the very last V8-powered Bentleys available in the UK.
The Black Editions’ poised, assured presence is heightened still further by striking 22-inch 10-Spoke Sports Wheels in a gloss black polished finish. The bold Mulliner accent colour – offered in a choice of Green and Orange – enhances the carbon fibre front splitter, door mirror caps housings, sill covers, and rear diffuser, with an expertly painted pinstripe that runs around the exterior.
The theme continues inside, where the accent colour brings an invigorating energy to the luxurious interior, gracing the 6 o’clock steering wheel spoke, gear selector, and seat side panels, bespoke ‘Black Edition’ headrest stitching and as a contrast pinstripe to the Piano Black Veneers in the doors. Additional refinements include the Bentley Rotating Display and bespoke ‘Black Edition’ stainless steel treadplates.
The Black Edition also benefits from the Touring Specification – a suite of driver assist features including a Head-up display, Night vision, and Adaptive Cruise Control, that are designed specifically to make long journeys even more comfortable.
Performance from the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 is truly effortless. Developing 550PS and an incredible 770Nm torque, this iconic engine enables both models to accelerate from 0-60mph in just 4.0 seconds, and reach a maximum speed of 198mph.
Produced in limited numbers as production of this legendary powerplant comes to an end, the Bentley Continental Black Editions are available to view – alongside the complete Bentley model range – in each of the three H.R.
